The Glohaven Peach could not be more perfect. Its delicious yellow flesh slips right off the stone, and the fuzz-free skin doesn’t even need peeling to eat fresh or to can. With a yellow skin blushed and speckled with red, these big peaches look as beautiful as they taste. They ripen early, in mid-August, and this tree was specially created to grow well in colder areas, like zones 5 and 6, where other varieties are not as reliable. It grows into a tree 12 to 15 feet tall and across, and it needs just an annual pruning to deliver bushels of delicious peaches. In small gardens you can also grow it on a wall, where it takes up almost no space at all.

  • Delicious yellow-fleshed peaches in mid-August
  • Specially developed for cooler areas
  • Self-pollinating, so no need for a second tree
  • Slipstone, and fuzz-free skin, for ease of eating and canning
  • Produce a bumper crop with just a little care

Grow the Glohaven Peach Tree in full sun, to ensure good flowering and fruit ripening. It will grow in most soils, just so long as they are well-drained. Follow a fertilizer program for the best results and the heaviest crops, but this tough tree needs no fussy care, and although all peach trees can be bothered by pests and diseases, this tree is more resistant than many others. It was developed in Michigan, for colder areas, and it is a top-choice tree if you live in colder parts of the country.
