The Dwarf Serbian Spruce is beautiful rounded bush with sparkling silver blue-green needles packed tightly around the branches, making a dense mound about 2 feet tall and wide within 10 years. This plant thrives in colder zones, and enjoys cool summers, so if you live in the north it is a natural choice for your garden. Grow it among darker evergreens for a charming contrast, or out in beds for year-round interest. Grow it in a bed of other specimen evergreens for the perfect low-maintenance garden feature. Allow enough room for its final size, which will certainly exceed 6 feet.

  • Dense rounded form needs no trimming
  • Bright silver blue to silver green foliage
  • Very hardy into zone 3
  • Thrives in cooler climate zones
  • Easily grown low-maintenance small specimen

Choose a sunny spot for your Dwarf Siberian Spruce, although an hour or two of afternoon shade is acceptable too. It will grow without problems in any garden soil that is not constantly wet and boggy, so it grows in almost every garden. It normally has no pests or diseases, and deer can be expected to leave it alone. No trimming is required to maintain its neat, rounded form, which will in time become more conical.
